The Integrated Fire Alarm Unit is an invaluable accessory in Server Racks and cabinets, to protect the sensitive and expensive equipment from damage by fire resulting from short circuits, overloads and cable faults. The unit must be mounted in the upper section of the panel where it can monitor the exhaust air for traces of smoke.

When smoke is sensed by the Smoke Detector, the Alarm Unit instantly provides a Relay contact which can be used for local or remote alarm indication or annunciation. The instrument can also be coupled to Hooters or Beacon lights which will give the operator an instant indication of any abnormality.
